I would describe my professional journey as a “spherical” instead of 360º degrees, starting my career as a physician, working as a payor in the birth of universal coverage health system in an emerging market country to later finding myself selling heart valves, aortic grafts and pacemakers in LAtam, things got even more fun when I joined hemodialysis and peritoneal company before transitioning to Novartis as product manager for transplantation progressing to head of specialty products unit and member of the board, this particular period allows me to sharpen my skills negotiating with public and private stakeholder, interact with patient associations and understand the flow of a health care system is not unidimensional.
Later on, moved to a regional pricing and market access position that gave me the chance to understand the dynamics at a corporate and global level.
This journey brought me today to become a global market access director when had the experience to be involved in matters such as R&D, B&DL, environmental value creation, digital products, pricing and reimbursement strategy, clinical development shaping, RWE, and gene therapy.
Through the years I discovered that the most satisfying job is the one that gives me the opportunity to co-create something new wows our customers and patients and I hope I can continue doing it.
