In the past couple of years, we have been analyzing what are the capabilities that a modern Market Access function needs to have to be successful, agile and adaptable in modern times. We have ultimately built the Access Academy – a training curriculum designed to upskill and future-proof. But more than that, we are making sure the other functions in the company use the Academy to better understand the role of Market Access and its value to the organization.

At Daiichi Sankyo, our teams collaborate with payers and policymakers to create affordable and sustainable access solutions for our oncology drugs, delivering value to patients worldwide. Currently, as the Senior Manager of Operational Excellence & Capabilities in Global Oncology Value, Access & Pricing, I lead initiatives such as establishing a Global Access Academy, managing knowledge exchange, and driving operational excellence projects.
